A letter from Karen De la Carriere Class XII
exposing the death of her son Alexander Jenzsch
Dear Scientologist,
I am emailing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist to let you know about the mysterious and sudden death of my son Alexander Jentzsch at 27 years of age on July 3, 2012.
Although I am not in the Sea Org right now, I served aboard the Flagship Apollo where I was trained by LRH to the level of Class XII C/S. I am one of only seven Class XII C/S' LRH ever made.
After LRH took Flag ashore in Clearwater, I met and fell in love with Heber Jentzsch. We married and Heber went on to become the President of the Church of Scientology International. I remained devoted to LRH and to my duties as a Class XII C/S at Flag. I won "Auditor of the Year" at Flag numerous times.
In 1984, I gave birth to our son Alexander.
Alexander Jentzsch was born in the Sea Org. He formally joined the Sea Org when he was eight years old. Despite the promises that Sea Org recruiters made to Alexander, he did not receive a proper education. While other children were in school, Alexander was cleaning toilets and mopping floors at Flag. As a child working in the Sea Org, Alexander was made to work long hours and would sometimes sneak away to call me on the phone in tears.
While LRH had made family time a daily requirement in the Sea Org, things radically changed under COB RTC David Miscavige and family time virtually disappeared. Unless there is a death or a PR flap of some kind, Sea Org members are almost never allowed to see their families. Alexander seldom saw his father, Heber. Factually, years would go by between the times Alexander was allowed to see his father. Alexander called himself "The Boy with no Dad". He saw Heber less than 11 times in 14 years.
COB RTC David Miscavige ordered Heber Jentzsch and I to be divorced and has utterly destroyed our 2nd dynamic.
I was suddenly a single mother with a child to support. Heber was unable to pay any child support. Indeed, Heber could not even support himself on his $50 per week Sea Org pay. I did not protest this as Heber was the President of the Church of Scientology International and I did not want to create a flap for the Church. The Church had me sign affidavits on video camera that I would never ask for child support.
I was suddenly a single mother with a child to support. Heber was unable to pay any child support. Indeed, Heber could not even support himself on his $50 per week Sea Org pay. I did not protest this as Heber was the President of the Church of Scientology International and I did not want to create a flap for the Church.
I routed out of the Sea Org in 1990 and took many years to pay off my $90,000 Freeloader Debt. I paid my Freeloader Debt so that I could remain a Scientologist in good standing. I knew LRH and knew the Tech worked miracles.
After I left the Sea Org, I remained a loyal member of the Church of Scientology. I raised Alexander by myself and supported him financially when he entered the Sea Org. Alexander served on many posts during the sixteen years he was in the Sea Org. When he was a young man, Alexander married Andrea Kavon, a fellow Sea Org member.
Alexander and Andrea Jentzsch routed out of the Sea Org in 2010 due to the fact that Andrea was pregnant and babies are not allowed in the Sea Org. The baby spontaneously aborted.
Sometime after they routed out, I made the decision to publicly depart the Church in 2010 for the same reasons Debbie Cook outlined in her letter of January 1, 2012. Like Debbie, I saw the Church engaging in extreme over-regging and gross out tech. Having been trained to deliver the highest technical levels of Scientology possible, I know what Standard Tech is and is not. My decision to leave the Church was based upon my deep respect for LRH and my 100% commitment to preserve his legacy and technology. I could no longer be a part of what was happening in the Church under the deeply suppressive management of David Miscavige.
I was declared a Suppressive Person. My son Alexander and his wife were forced to disconnect from me by OSA when I left the Church.
In 2010, Alexander's father Heber Jentzsch was 75 years old and had not been allowed to see our son for many years. Heber has been locked up in the Int Base RPF for many years and remains locked up with other International executives.
Due to the policies of Disconnection and RPF, Alexander effectively had no parents in 2010.
After he left the Sea Org, Alexander took a job in sales at a Scientology-owned company in Dallas. During this time in Dallas, Alexander was involved in a traffic accident that injured him to such an extent that he began to take prescription pain pills. Alexander lost his job and began on a downward spiral.
Because Alexander did not have $10,000 or more, the Church of Scientology would not and give him any auditing to handle the engram from the traffic accident. The Church would not even give Alexander any charity Chaplain auditing. It did not matter that Alexander's parents had served more than fifty years in the Sea Org. There is no compassion or mercy in the Church in present time.
As a Class XII C/S, I have the technical skills necessary to help anyone. I could have helped my son Alexander handle the engram from the traffic accident. However, due to the policy of Disconnection no one from the Church of Scientology ever called me to let me know that my only child had been badly injured in a traffic accident.
As an art dealer, I have a good income. I would have immediately paid to give my son the best medical care possible. Again, however, due to the policy of Disconnection no one from the Church of Scientology ever called me to let me know that Alexander had been badly injured in a traffic accident.
It came as a shock to me, then, when someone called me to let me know that Alexander had been found dead in his bed on the morning of July 3, 2012.
Alexander died at the home of his in-laws in Los Angeles. Both of his in-laws are New OT VII's.
It was only after I began to ask questions that I learned of the traffic accident and that Alexander had allegedly died from a high fever.
Through its spokesperson, the Church was very quick to publicly state that Alexander has left no suicide note and had over-medicated himself. This was a strange and suspicious claim coming from the same Church that claims to have the most powerful technology on the planet. I am working very hard to find out the truth about my son Alexander's death because the Church will not tell me anything and has forbidden Andrea or her family from telling me anything.
The behavior of the Church raises questions: Where was the tech when Alexander needed it? He served 16 years in the Sea Org. Why not a lifeline in his time of need?
Why did two New OT VII's allow a fellow Scientologist in good standing to over-medicate himself?
Why had two OT's failed to help Alexander? This is a gross violation of point one of the Code of Honor written by LRH in 1954:
"Never desert a comrade in need, in danger or in trouble."
Alexander was clearly in need, danger, and trouble and yet he was utterly deserted by the Church of Scientology.
I wanted only to cremate my son quickly per the scriptures of Scientology. When I sent a messenger over to the home of Alexander's in-laws to ask for his body, I was told:
Any communication between Andrea and myself must go through OSA
There would be no funeral or viewing for Alexander
Worse, I was told that I would not be allowed to take one last look at my son
This is the Church of Scientology in 2012 under David Miscavige:
An LRH-trained Class XII C/S cannot use the tech to help her own son
A grieving mother cannot see her son's body one last time
No one will help a comrade in need, danger, or trouble for fear of incurring the wrath of David Miscavige or OSA
The Church did not tell me that Alexander died. I had to find out from someone who cared enough to tell me.
The Church never told you why Debbie Cook left as Captain of FSO. Instead, Debbie Cook sent out a letter herself to tell you why.
The Church is not telling you that LRH's granddaughter Roanne Horwich recently blew from Int Base.
The Church of Scientology under David Miscavige is a Church full of secrets, lies, and injustices.
The Church of Scientology under David Miscavige uses Disconnection and SP Declares only to keep the truth from being known.
I am writing this letter to let you know that the Church has tried to keep secret the news that Alexander Jentzsch - whose father Heber is still the President of CSI - died.
The Church is keeping other secrets from you as well:
Why is the Super Power Building still not open after almost twenty years?
Where does all the money go?
Why are the Ideal Orgs empty?
Where is the expansion claimed by COB?
That the entire Dror Mission in Israel just left the Church, and why.
I am a Scientologist and will always be a Scientologist for I know the power of the tech.
I love LRH and care enough about the tech and the church he created to send you this letter.
I close by quoting what Debbie Cook said very well in her letter:
"We all have a stake in this. It is simply not possible to read the LRH references and not see the alterations and violations that are currently occurring. You have a very simple obligation to LRH. Don't participate in anything off policy, and let others know they should not either. If every person who reads this email does nothing more than step back from off-policy actions we would have changed direction. If we took all that energy and directed it into auditing, training and raw public dissemination, we would be winning."

Celebrating Success
The Association of Professional Independent Scientologists (APIS) is continuing to expand with more members, groups and branches.
This year we have:
- Started a new branch of APIS in Italy.
- Converted the Australian FANZA into an Australian Branch of APIS also.
- Working on setting up more groups in Australia.
- Doubled our private membership.
The branch of APIS in Italy with highly classed auditors available for that area. Auditing is available up to OT and training is available for most of the technology. All practice the philosophy and standard application of scientology in line with APIS aims and purposes.
FANZA, one of the original groups around, has been converted into a Branch of APIS also. Currently there is a rallying around of people in Australia to form groups in every city.
Memberships have been steadily increasing and subscriptions to the monthly newsletter are very popular with more people wanting the information and theta communication line.
Members get their own quarterly journal with heaps of fascinating articles and resources and the member's area is full of increased resources and a massive qual library.
APIS has more websites pulling in more and more public interested to know the real Scientology.
Our Social Networks are an outstanding success. We have over 4000 friends on Facebook with more joining daily. Seems people love the success stories, source quotes and interesting information posted on our Facebook profile and page.
We get daily queries and so many people express relief that they have found something outside the church that is on source.
APIS is going very well and continuing to expand.

Press Release - A New Branch of APIS
I have pleasure in announcing a new branch of the Association of Professional Independent Scientologists (APIS) now open in Northern Italy.
The branch, which has its own website in Italian http://apis-italia.net> is there to service and provide source materials to Italy and the surrounding regions.
This branch is a service organisation consisting of many people, the majority of which are OTs, C/S and highly trained auditors. All backed up and supported by our Tech and Admin terminals at APIS.
There is a feedback and contact details on site for anyone in Italy or surrounding areas (such as Switzerland for example) who wish to participate either by assisting or taking advantage of the on source services available in the area.
They are also listed on the APIS website at: independent-scientologists-association.net/branch-directory.shtml
I would like to congratulate and thank the Italian branch for all the hard work and effort they have put into getting this branch up and running.
Heres to many more branches opening up!

Press Release - New Name Change
The International Freezone Association Inc is undergoing a name change. In order to reflect our true position in relation to the works of L. Ron Hubbard we are changing our name to:
The Association of Professional Independent Scientologists (APIS)
This is more consistent with our aims, purposes and goals.
The IFA (International Freezone Association), as it was originally known, was formulated in 2003 when the Scientology freezone was very much in its infancy and consisting of many scattered groups around the planet. Most of these groups consisted of people who had either left or been kicked out of the church. The term itself was actually first employed by Bill Robertson of Rons Orgs fame some years before.
When the IFA was first created, it was with a viewpoint of being an international organisation and as the word 'Freezone' was de rigueur at that time, this term was adopted and the International Freezone Association was born. The full story can be found at IFA History
Since then the freezone has come to include a hotch potch of fringe groups and individuals not all of which are adherents of the original philosophy and practice but, instead, many tend to mix practices or alter the philosophy and technology to suit their own goals and purposes.
"This meant that we had to consider pointing out the distinction between the IFA, now APIS, who adhere strictly to the philosophy and practice, called standard technology or 'tech', and those who do not." Said Michael Moore President of APIS.
So being a strictly standard tech organisation from day one and having no interest in being lumped together with those who engage in non standard practices, a new name was sort to reflect our purposes and goals more accurately. After some consultations and surveys the name
The Association of Professional Independent Scientologists Was arrived at in order to more truthfully express our stance in the scientology world as it has existed since the association was first conceived.
Michael Moore added, "I would just like to take this opportunity of indicating that our purposes as outlined on the website have never changed and have always remained the same."
The principle purposes of APIS are:
Preserve the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard for future use so it is available for all mankind.
Protect the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard so it is not altered, diluted or changed in anyway but remains exactly as Lafayette Ron Hubbard issued it.
Promote the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard so it may be known by all mankind.
Over the coming weeks the website will be updated to reflect the new name change.

New Message from Debbie Cook
Here is the text of the letter former high-ranking Scientology leader Debbie Cook released to the Tampa Bay Times.
My name is Debbie Cook. Your publication just wrote about my New Year's Eve email to some of our Scientologist friends - church insiders - and included the full text of the email.
Someone else turned around and sent this letter to thousands of Scientologists - news articles are reporting 12,000 - and from there, you published it and other media outlets sensationalized it further. My email was no doubt tough reading for outsiders, as it quoted liberally and invoked duties from our own church policies and organizations.
Such matters are of paramount interest to Scientologists, but of no interest to the general public. Unfortunately this left various media to seize upon certain points that might titillate a public without a real understanding of the church, while downplaying the main point, which is my love for Scientology and my passion for it as laid out in the pure principles and guidance from L. Ron Hubbard.
I am not trying to pick a fight with the Church, nor am I bitter, or blasting or any of the other things concocted by other media outlets. I am simply asking my friends to do their part, the part that Mr. Hubbard asked of all Scientologists, which is to make sure that they only follow the workable technology laid out in policy and bulletins written by Hubbard exactly as he wrote them. This is the responsibility every Scientologist has - to keep it unadulterated.
This is the very reason I didn't want this in the press. All you got wind of was some internal group pressure to keep things on the straight and narrow. It was clearly intended as a communication amongst Scientologists.
I have been a Scientologist for 36 years. My experience of meeting and working with Scientologists all over the world is that they are truly good-hearted, ethical and caring people.
The staff of Scientology organizations work very hard, long hours to service and help anyone who walks in their doors.
Scientology organizations provide services that help people with their problems and improve conditions in one's life. Whether that is drug addiction or alcohol abuse, marital problems, school problems, kid problems, work related stress or pretty much any of life's twists and turns.
In most cases the reason Scientologists donate to the Church or even dedicate their lives to working for the Church is because their lives have been truly touched and they have been profoundly helped through the application of technology laid out by Mr. Hubbard.
Scientologists are active in community service, with community clean-ups, Winter Wonderland, adopting streets, planting trees, working with the Fire Dept as emergency response. At pretty much any natural disaster anywhere in the world you will find Scientologists as Volunteer Ministers there on the scene helping in any way they can. These and many other incredibly good things that Scientologists are involved in are the reason we care so much.
Message from Debbie Cook

Dear friend,
I am emailing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist. As we enter a new year, it is hoped that 2012 can be a year of great dissemination and a year of real progress up The Bridge for all Scientologists.
Although I am not in the Sea Org right now, I served in the Sea Org at Flag for 29 years. 17 of those years were as Captain FSO. I am a trained auditor and C/S as well as an OEC, FEBC and DSEC.
I am completely dedicated to the technology of Dianetics and Scientology and the works of LRH. I have seen some of the most stunning and miraculous results in the application of LRH technology and I absolutely know it is worth fighting to keep it pure and unadulterated.
My husband and I are in good standing and we are not connected with anyone who is not in good standing. We have steadfastly refused to speak to any media, even though many have contacted us.
But I do have some very serious concerns about out-KSW that I see permeating the Scientology religion.
I have the utmost respect for the thousands of dedicated Scientologists and Sea Org members. Together, we have come through everything this world could throw at us and have some real impingement on the world around us. I am proud of our accomplishments and I know you are too. However there is no question that this new age of continuous fundraising is not our finest moment.
LRH says in HCO PL 9 Jan 51, An Essay on Management, "drop no curtains between the organization and the public about anything." LRH
Based on this policy I am communicating to you about some situations that we need to do something about within our religion, within our group.
Actions that are either not covered in policy or directly violate LRH policy and tech include:
The extreme over-regging and fund-raising activities that have become so much a part of nearly every Sea Org org and Class V org as well as every "OT Committee" is not covered anywhere in LRH policy.
Hardworking Sea Org members and the dedicated staff of orgs around the world aren't choosing to do these actions. Nor are the OTs.
I am sure they would be more than happy if they could just get on with direct dissemination of Scientology as they have done for so many years.
But the truth is that this is being driven from the very highest echelons within the Scientology structure and clearly there is a lot of pressure to make targets that are being set.
The IAS
The IAS was created unbeknownst to LRH in 1984 by Marc Yager and David Miscavige.
This was supposed to be based on LRH policies on the subject of membership and the HASI, however the IAS is nothing like the membership system described by LRH which only has two memberships and is covered in HCO PL 22 March 1965 "Current Promotion and Org Program Summary, Membership Rundown" and states:
"There are two memberships." LRH
LRH lists there the INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP and gives its cost at 10 pounds sterling or $30 US. He also lists a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP which is priced at $75 US. There are no other memberships or statuses approved or known to LRH.
Furthermore, membership monies are supposed to go directly to the org where the membership is signed up, and the money used for dissemination by that org, in that area. This is covered in HCOPL 1 Sept 1965R Membership Policies.
"It all goes into the HCO Book Account in the area where the membership is brought and is not part of the organization's weekly gross income. Membership monies go to dissemination." LRH
Currently membership monies are held as Int reserves and have grown to well in excess of a billion dollars.
Only a tiny fraction has ever been spent, in violation of the policy above.
Only the interest earned from the holdings have been used very sparingly to fund projects through grants.
In fact many of the activities you see at IAS events are not actually funded by the IAS, but rather by the Scientologists involved.
Think about it, how many ads disseminating Scientology, Dianetics or any Scn affiliated programs have you seen on TV? Heard on the radio? Seen in newspapers? I haven't seen one in the 4 years I have lived in San Antonio, Texas, the 7th largest city in the US. How many have you seen?
Donating anything more than a lifetime membership to the IAS is not based on LRH policy.
The article "What Your Donations Buy" (The Auditor, The Monthly Journal of Scientology No. 51, 1970) is clearly talking about how the church uses your donations for Dianetics and Scientology services.
Next time you are asked to donate outside of services, realize that you are engaged in fundraising and ask to see something in writing from L. Ron Hubbard that this is something he expects from you as a Scientologist.
New Org Buildings
LRH also never directed the purchase of opulent buildings or the posh renovations or furnishings for every org.
In fact, if you read HCO PL 12 March 75 Issue II, "The Ideal Org", which is what this program has been called, and nowhere in it will you find 20 million dollar buildings or even any reference to the poshness of org premises at all as part of LRH's description of an "Ideal Org".
Instead, an Ideal Org was one that delivered and moved people up The Bridge - something that is not part of this "Ideal Org" program.
LRH says in the PL that an Ideal Org: "would be clean and attractive enough not to repel its public" LRH. This is all it says about the state of the building.
As a result of this off-policy alteration of the Ideal Org PL, we have the majority of top OTs, now deemed "OT Ambassadors", heavily engaged in fund-raising activities that include "bingo", "pirate dinners", "knitting classes", "hay rides", and many other activities strictly revolving around raising funds for the required multi-millions of dollars to fund their "Ideal Org".
As part of this, people around every org are now asked to donate to their local "Ideal Org" instead of their own services or their own Bridge.
LRH says in HCO PL Org Ethics and Tech:
"GET RID OF DISTRACTIONS FROM SCIENTOLOGY in your org. Baby-sitting or raffle tickets and such nonsense."
Yet these distractions are rampant as they are being used as fund-raisers to get money for the huge quotas being issued to fund the "Ideal Org".
"If the org slumps, don't engage in 'fund-raising' or 'selling postcards' or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology.
It's a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions for finance outside Scientology. It has always failed."
"For orgs as for pcs, 'Solve It With Scientology'.
"Every time I myself have sought to solve financial or personnel in other ways than Scientology I have lost out. So I can tell you from experience that org solvency lies in more Scientology, not patented combs or fund-raising barbeques."
HCO PL 24 February 1964, Issue II, Org Programming, (OEC Vol. 7, p. 930)
The point is that Scientologists and OT's need to be training, auditing and disseminating to raw public, not regging each other or holding internal fundraisers.
Out Tech
Over the last few years we have seen literally hundreds and hundreds of people who were validated as clear using the CCRD as developed by LRH now being told they are not Clear.
This included hundreds of OTs who were then put onto NED as a "handling". LRH clearly forbid any Dianetics to be run on OTs in HCOB "Dianetics Forbidden on OTs".
This is out tech.
This entire technical "handling" was directed personally by COB RTC and was done on thousands of OTs.
But it was based not on an LRH HCO Bulletin, but rather based on a single C/S instruction where LRH C/Sed one pre-OT who had not achieved the state of clear but was mid OT III and not making it.
LRH directed a solo handling that the pre-OT was to do to get himself to achieve the state of Clear.
This LRH C/S taken out of context was then used to implement a technical handling that was in direct violation of an LRH HCOB.
This and other "technical handlings" done on Solo NOTs auditors created great expense and hardship on Solo NOTs auditors around the world as they were made to do these handlings to continue on the level.
Then there are the "fast grades at Flag" that no other org has.
How can it be that Flag has been delivering grades differently to the rest of the world for the last 3 years?
Whatever the problem is, the fact is that having "fast Grades" at Flag creates a hidden data line and is a HIGH CRIME and the subject of an entire policy letter called "TECH DEGRADES" which LRH has placed at the start of every Scientology course.
More recently the fad seems to be that nearly everyone needs to "re-do their Purif and do a long objectives program", including many OTs mid Solo NOTs.
There is nothing wrong with doing objectives, but it is a clear violation of HCOB MIXING RUNDOWNS AND REPAIRS to have a person mid a rundown or OT level be taken off it and placed on an objectives program.
Solo NOTs auditors are also being made to get their objectives from a Class IX auditor at great expense as they are not being allowed to co-audit.
Flag has made many millions of dollars on the above listed out tech handlings because:
OTs mid Solo NOTs are forced to get these out-tech actions to be able to get back onto and stay on the level and complete it. Not to mention the spiritual effects of the out tech that this has on each OT.
I myself was subject to these out tech "handlings", including extensive FPRD mid Solo NOTs. It took its toll in many ways, including physical situations I am still dealing with today. So I have some reality of the hardship caused.
LRH Command Structure
LRH left us with a complex and balanced command structure, with our orgs led by the Office of ED International.
This office was considered so important that LRH created a special management group called the Watch Dog Committee whose only purpose was to see that this office and the other needed layers of management existed.
LRH ED 339R speaks of this extensively as the protection for our Church.
But these people are missing.
And not just some.
As of just a few years ago there were no members of the office of ED Int on post, not to mention top execs throughout the International Management structure.
You may have also wondered. where is Heber, the President of the Church?
What about Ray Mitthoff, Senior C/S International, the one that LRH personally turned over the upper OT Levels to?
How about Norman Starkey, LRH's Trustee?
What happened to Guillaume, Executive Director International?
And Marc Yeager, the WDC Chairman?
What happened to the other International Management executives that you have seen at events over the years?
The Truth
Is that I spent weeks working in the empty International Management building at Int.
Empty because everyone had been removed from post.
When I first went up lines I was briefed extensively by David Miscavige about how bad all of them were and how they had done many things that were all very discreditable.
This seemed to "explain" the fact that the entirety of the Watchdog Committee no longer existed.
The entirety of the Executive Strata, which consisted of ED International and 11 other top International executives that were the top executives in their particular fields, no longer existed. That the Commodore's Messenger Org International no longer existed.
All of these key command structures of Scientology International, put there by LRH, had been removed.
There were hundreds and hundreds of unanswered letters and requests for help from org staff, written based on LRH ED 339R where LRH says that staff can write to these top executives in the Exec Strata for help.
But this is not possible if all these execs have been removed and no one is there to help them or to get evaluations and programming done to expand Scientology.
Well, after that I got to spend some quality time with Heber, Ray Mithoff, Norman Starkey, Guillaume, as well as the entirety of International Management at the time, who were all off post and doing very long and harsh ethics programs.
These have gone on for years and to the only result of that they are still off post. There is no denying that these top executives have all gradually disappeared from the scene. You don't see them at the big events anymore or on the ship at Maiden Voyage.
David Miscavige has now become the "leader" of the Scientology religion.
Yet what LRH left behind was a huge structure to properly manage all aspects of the Scientology religion.
He put a complete and brilliant organizational structure there, not one individual.
There never was supposed to be a "leader" other than LRH himself as the goal maker for our group.
There is a situation here and even if you have not been to the International Management Base you should be able to see that over regging and frequent tech changes are not OK and you have a responsibility to do something to Keep Scientology Working.
You should be able to find and read the references on membership in OEC Volume 6. Find and read the HCO PL entitled "The Ideal Org" (Data Series 40).
Find and read the references on org buildings, including HCO PL 24 Aug 65 II, Cleanliness of Quarters and Staff, Improve our Image. Also, HCO PL 17 June 69, The Org Image.
If you don't want to make waves or put yourself in danger of being taken off the level or denied eligibility, then there are some simple things you can do:
First and foremost
Withdraw your support from off policy actions.
Stop donating to anything other than your own services and actual Bridge progress.
Simply demand to see an LRH reference that says you are required to make other such donations.
No one will be able to produce any references because there aren't any.
Stop supporting any of the activities that are being done to forward off-policy fund-raising in your area.
LRH says what he expects of a Scientologist
That is what he expects you to do. In fact he put it in HCOB 10 June 1960 Issue I, Keeping Scientology Working Series 33, WHAT WE EXPECT OF A SCIENTOLOGIST. Read it and follow it.
The other thing you can do is to send this email to as many others as you can, even if you do it anonymously.
Please keep this email among us, the Scientologists. The media have no place in this.
You may wonder why I have not written a KR and gone about my business.
The answer is, I have. But there is no longer anyone to send that KR to.
But you can and should write reports and bring off-policy to the attention of local org executives and local Sea org members.
We are a strong and powerful group and we can affect a change. We have weathered many storms. I am sorry that I am the one telling you, but a new storm is upon us. Its waves are already in the media and the world around us.
The truth is that as a Scientologist you are more able, more perceptive and have a higher integrity. Scientology is supposed to make you "think for yourself" and never compromise your own integrity. And most certainly LRH held every Scientologist responsible to KEEP SCIENTOLOGY WORKING.
I am not trying to do anything other than affect a change in serious off policy actions occurring. My husband and I have most of our family and many many good friends who are Scientologists.
I have not been real interested in sticking my neck out like this. However, I also know that I dedicated my entire adult life to supporting LRH and the application of LRH technology and if I ever had to look LRH in the eye I wouldn't be able to say I did everything I could to Keep Scientology Working if I didn't do something about it now.
We all have a stake in this.
If we took all that energy and directed it into auditing, training and raw public dissemination, we would be winning.
And that is what I wish for you and all of us as we ring in this new year.
ARC,
Debbie Cook

Australian Senate not holding an inquiry into Scientology
The International Freezone Association Inc welcomes the Australian Senate decision not to hold an inquiry into Scientology. Such an inquiry would eventually end up as a witch hunt and be a precedent for further 'inquiries' into other religions.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) - Mar 11, 2010 - The International Freezone Association Inc welcomes the Australian Senate decision not to hold an inquiry into Scientology.
Such an inquiry would eventually end up as a witch hunt and be a precedent for further 'inquiries' into other religions.
The religion of Scientology is not in question. The activities of the current church are.
The philosophy and religion of scientology is as far from the official church (consisting of the private nonprofit corporation called The Church of Spiritual Technology, the Religious Technology Center and the Church of Scientology International) as it is possible to be and still be on the same planet.
When Hubbard was alive the church did indeed practice the philosophy of scientology and helped many people to become more aware as beings. The philosophy was promoted and people were welcomed into the church. Families and family life was encouraged and promoted and the cost of the services were reasonable.
After his death, however, a new regime took over and all that changed. The emphasis turned to money to the exclusion of all else and a paranoiac obsession that anyone not with the church was against it. Church members were not allowed to look at the internet or anything the church management deemed contrary to church doctrine. Abuse of various kinds were, and to my understanding, still are, perpetrated against members still in the church. This is a classic case of violating the basic doctrines of the philosophy.
Many of the original followers that assisted Hubbard with his research were booted out. Scripts and books were changed and a very effective 1984 job has been done on the literature and the basic services the church was originally set up to offer by the founder are now at a standstill.
It is a misnomer to say that that the church practices scientology because it no longer does. The copyrights and the name, 'Scientology', maybe owned by the commercial organisation called the Church of Spiritual Technology, and licenced to the Church of Scientology International, but it is simply giving lip service to a philosophy no longer practiced. The church is now a commercial enterprise for making money, and reducing costs through the reduction of the rights of individuals members within the church through, violence, abuse, cheap labour, threats, and harassment. The threat against existing scientologists, staff and members within and without the church is the denial of one's future existence if one does not comply. Absolute nonsense of course as, like in most philosophies, one is regarded as a spiritual being. Nevertheless for those still held within the tightly regimented enclave it seems real enough. Practiced by the church also is harassment of scientologist who are no longer members of the church but who deem to practice the original philosophy. This includes legal as well as illegal harassment.
Michael, President of the International Freezone Association Inc (IFA) stated, "The only scientology you will find practiced, these days, is outside the church, in the Independent Scientology Free zone where the basic principles are still adhered to and it is considered that man has spiritual freedom."
He went on, "How many people actually know what scientology is? Not very many! They do not even know the basics of real scientology and many of the current critics do not differentiate between the original philosophy and the current incumbents activities, instead, simply lumping them all together." he said. "It is like saying that all Catholics or all Muslims are bad. Patent nonsense of course as all people are individuals and spiritual beings regardless of their beliefs."
The media's rhetoric of, "it's bad", "Scientology kills people" or "scientologists eat babies" and other such generalised idiocies do nothing to explain what the philosophy of scientology is except dish out biased opinions. Ask people if they know what the ARC triangle represents, or what is a stable datum or what the eight dynamics are or that it is an applied philosophy and man is considered a spiritual being and they would not have a clue. Many get confused of course and cannot, or do not differentiate between the message and the messenger. In this case it is the messenger that has turned sour.
The criticism of the church is very understandable. In the eyes of the freezone scientologist, the church has committed the unpardonable sin of abusing the original philosophy and, instead, imposed an authoritarian and criminal dictatorship totally at variance with the original philosophy.
Nevertheless, the bald ignorant statements of, "they be all bad over there" is not a sound approach for adjudicating the merits or otherwise of any philosophy, whether practices by critics or church alike. Most of the original scientologists HAVE left the church in disgust or, as a result of abuse by the current management incumbents of the church, managed to 'escape.'
Many of the members of the International Freezone Association Inc, a group of independent scientologists have personal stories of abuse and denial of the basic rights of scientologists in violation of the basic tenets, with the church.
The philosophy has nothing to do with health or mental health any more than the Christian religion does. Calls by the Mental Health and its proponents for an investigation in to the philosophy are misguided at best and a wtich hunt at worse.
Abuses and criminal conduct within the church is quite rightly a matter for law enforcement agencies, not health or government intervention.

ABC Australia Four Corners Report on Scientology
The ABC in Australia just showed a 'report' on scientology' Of course it recounted abuses etc but also it was still very biased and made no attempt to provide a balanced view or even give any information about the philosophy, honing in on the current abuses and lumping everything together in a typical a=a=a. (everything equals everything and there is no distinction between different aspects of the same subject)
I posted a comment as follows:
Dear Four Corners,
I have just watched the report on Scientology shown tonight at 8.30 on ABC1.
I was disappointed to say the least that Four Corners should show such a blatantly biased and incomplete portrayal of L. Ron Hubbard the philosophy he founded.
I have no issue with the reporting of abuses that can be found within the church in its present state. Indeed many of the International Freezone Association Inc. have suffered such abuses and made these known.
In addition, information regarding the Project rehabilitation Force is displayed on scientologistsfreezone.com for all to see.
My objection is that not even a token attempt was made to show anything about the philosophy other than a vague and highly inaccurate reference to 'xenu', which has little to do with the scope of the philosophy.
The philosophy is based upon a series of discoveries by Hubbard and not a 'self styled' religion as the reporter states. That is simply poor tabloid journalism set out to paint a picture and not provide factual data.
In addition the church in its current state no longer practices the philosophy of scientology any more. In the same way it has abused many of its members, under the guidance of the currently chairman of the board, it has also abused the basic tenets of the philosophy as well.
This means that this report is no better than the church at reporting facts and certainly not an accurate balanced presentation of any kind.
I would have expected something better from Four Corners.
In fact, the only place you will find the original philosophy of scientology is with the independent scientologists worldwide.

New Scientology Freezone Newsletter
The International Freezone Association inc (IFA). The independent group of scientologists who wish to practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard and not the church altered technology, have launched a newsletter free to the public.
PR Log (Press Release) - Dec 28, 2009 - "The Monthly newsletter, called the FREE THETAN is designed to give people an idea of what the original philosophy of Hubbard was really about." Said Michael Moore, President of the IFA. "Unfortunately the church has altered the philosophy and violated its tenets so much so, that there is now virtually no actual scientology practiced in the church any more. It is really just scientology in name only these days. For the real stuff you have to go to the independent practitioners in the field." He went on.
The FREE THETAN is a monthly newsletter freely available from the IFA website and contains news, information, success stories from the scientology freezone and some quotes by the founder of scientology, L. Ron Hubbard.
The IFA is a free association of individuals, auditors and groups who believe they should be free to practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
They believe that, since the death of the founder of the movement, the Church of Scientology has strayed from the original philosophy and purpose of the group which Hubbard first researched and developed.
As the members of the IFA do not wish to participate in the practice of an altered philosophy they have elected to practice their chosen philosophy independently of the church.
The IFA has a great number of members around the world and provides support and assistance to its members including a quarterly journal and technical assistance with the original philosophy and technology researched and developed by Hubbard.
More information and a free copy of the FREE THETAN newsletter is available at Newsletter

Dear Sir,
The philosophy and religion of scientology is as far from the official church (consisting of the private nonprofit corporation called The Church of Spiritual Technology, the Religious Technology Center and the Church of Scientology International) as it is possible to be and still be on the same planet.
When Hubbard was alive the church did indeed practice the philosophy of scientology and helped many people to become more aware as beings. The copyrights and the name, 'Scientology', maybe owned by the commercial organisation called the Church of Spiritual Technology, but it is simply giving lip service to a philosophy no longer practiced. The church is now a commercial vehicle for making money, and reducing costs through the out and out suppression of individuals within the church through, violence, abuse, cheap labour, threats, and harassment. The threat against existing scientologists, staff and members within and without the church is the denial of one's future existence if one does not comply. Patent nonsense of course as, like in most philosophies, one is regarded as a spiritual being. Nevertheless for those still held within the tightly regimented enclave it seems real enough. How many people actually know what scientology is? Not very many! They do not even know the basics of real scientology. many of the current critics do not differentiate between the original philosophy and the current incumbents activities, instead, simply lumping them all together.
Of great concern is that the fellow in the street does not have a clue about what scientology is. All one gets is rhetoric and a diatribe of, "it's bad", "Scientology kills people" or "scientologists eat babies" and other such generalised idiocies. Ask people if they know what the ARC triangle represents, or what is a stable datum or what the eight dynamics are or that it is an applied philosophy and man is considered a spiritual being and they would not have a clue. Unfortunately the baby very often gets thrown out with the bath water in an indiscriminate vigilante style blanket decision and that is what concerns me here. If a bad hat took over a largely good organisation does one then destroy the whole organisation or does one seek out the bat hat and remove him from the organisation?
I would humbly ask that you take that thought into consideration in any future deliberations.

Independent Scientologists Stand Alone
The independent freezone scientologists stand alone when it comes to the Church of Scientology.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 05, 2009 - The independent freezone scientologists stand alone when it comes to the Church.
"The French Courts decision concerning Scientology is all about the Church of Scientology's methods of recruitment and, not about the original philosophy." stated Michael Moore, President of the International Freezone Association Inc (IFA). A group of independent Scientologists who prefer to practice the original philosophy rather than the later expensive version offered by the church. "The original philosophy has gotten lost in all this, even by the church itself who now seem to practice something else, even in violation of the original tenets of the philosophy." he went on.
The International Freezone Association (IFA) believe they should be free to practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard and believe that, since the death of the founder of the movement, the Church of Scientology has strayed from the original philosophy and purpose of the group which Hubbard first researched and developed.
"We consider that it is this altered philosophy the church practices, in violation of the basic tenets of the original Scientology, that has contributed in no small measure to the church's downfall." Moore said.
The IFA have experienced scientologists on their books who only practice the original philosophy. They have a certification process in place to ensure that their members only practice and use the original philosophy as distinct to the modern Johnny come lately altered versions practiced in the church today.
There are also many other resources both for public and IFA members available from the 10 websites the IFA operate.

Hearing on Intellectual Property and Copyrights
The US Federal Trade Commission is going to hold a series of hearings,
the first in Washington DC on Dec 5th 2008. This to examine IP law and the various
issues surrounding it. It is expected that interested parties from the
tech industry, including Cisco, Yahoo and the Computer & Communications
Industry Association are expected to testify along with professors,
lawyers and other industry players.
It wishes to straighten out Intellectual Property (IP) and more clearly
define the guidelines covering intellectual property. It will hold a
series of hearings, the first in Washington, DC on Dec. 5th 2008, as a start
to examine the various issues and criteria relating to this issue.
The last time this was done was in 2002/2003, when 24 days of hearings
that involved more than 300 panelists were involved. These included
representatives from large and small business firms; the independent
inventor community; patent and antitrust organizations; and the academic
community in economics and antitrust and patent law provided input. In
addition, the FTC said it received about 100 written submissions. Many
of the business representatives were from technology-intensive
industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, computer hardware and
software, and the Internet. The final results were contained in a
207-page report that has guided the agency's ruling on IP since.
According to the FTC, the hearing will consist of three panels. One that
looks at the operation of emerging business models, aspects of the
patent system that support those models, and industry responses. The
discussion also will explore the implications these developing business
models have for patent valuation and licensing. A second will examine
recent and proposed changes in remedies law, including their impact on
innovation and consumers, and their use of economic analysis in
determining remedies. The third will look at legal doctrines that affect
the value and licensing of patents, such as the recent Supreme Court
cases on obviousness and other important rulings make the scope and
enforcement of patents unpredictable, the FTC stated.
This might not seem immediately apparent but this is a good opportunity
for the Freezone to present its case concerning the freedom of religion
and freedom of expression.
Such points as:
Churches should not hold a commercial monopoly on the name of a
religion. E.g Church of Scientology holds a monopoly on the name
Scientology. The other main religions do not hold a copyright on the
word that represents or describes their religion. Some examples of this
include:
Christianity (All factions and beliefs)
Islam
Hinduism
Chinese traditional religion
Buddhism
Sikhism
Juche
Spiritism
Judaism
Baha'i
Jainism
Shinto
Cao Dai
Zoroastrianism
Tenrikyo:
Rastafarianism:
To name but a few.
Commercial copyright law should clearly not infringe religion.
Commercial copyright law should not be used as a preventative to
practicing the religions.
Intellectual property should not include religious principles or the
ritual and practice of same.
The spiritual welfare of man is not bound by intellectual property
rights but by the beliefs of man.
And the religious and philosophical tenets should not be the property
of any one individual or church.
The spiritual guidelines of a religion should not be bound by commercial
rights.
If you would care to make a submission, which you, as an individual have
every right to do, then the FTC wants your comments. The more people
that make submissions the more notice the FTC will take of the
submissions and the more consideration they will give to them. It would
be in our interests, to ensure that the philosophy of Scientology is
open to all, that as many submissions as possible are made.
All submission should be submitted to:
http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/workshops.shtm
And must be received by February 5, 2009, and should refer to "Evolving
IP Marketplace - P093900."

We have set up a survey to find out how we can improve the IFA services offered both for IFA members as well as the public.
I would like to invite you to do a quick survey for the IFA and for the freezone.
This survey is just three questions and the responses will go a long way to giving us an idea what people would like to see in the IFA to improve its services.
No names are required with this survey so please feel free to answer honestly and let us know what you think

Professional Course Booklets
The 14th in the D Folgere Professional Course Booklets has now been
completed and uploaded to Gold Century Press. I spend a little time
each day transcribing on these and hope to have at least one completed
each month. So far I am in front of the target as started this a year
ago and have now done the first 14 plus the last one (No 50).
The Professional Course Booklets, also known as the 50 Course Booklets,
were originally compiled and rewritten from transcripts of lectures
given by Lafayette Ronald Hubbard during the Spring and Summer of 1952.
The first 27 booklets parallel the 27 lectures of the Hubbard College
Lecture Series given in Wichita in March 1952. Booklets 2E to 28 are
taken from the Technique 80 Lectures of Phoenix, May 1952. The remaining
19 booklets are based on the Technique 88 Lectures of June 1952. Tapes
of these lectures were supplemented by the booklets and together they
formed the Professional Course.
These "50 Course Books" carry forward all the basic technology Dianetics
and Scientology, with particular emphasis on the material developed
between January and December, 1952. They contained an enormous amount of
material fundamental to an understanding of the mind, many with
illustrations. They could be said to have comprised a study course in
themselves, but were, at the same time, part and parcel of the
Professional Course.
They have been out of print for many years and have been generally
unavailable. But now this vital information will be available from Gold
Century Press, publishers to the scientologists Freezone, at a nominal
cost in either soft copy or e-book format. These have been reformatted
and errors corrected. All proceeds will be donated to the International
Freezone Association.
Note: These are lecture notes written by D Folgere and are not
transcripts of Lafayette Ron Hubbard Taped lectures. Keep in mind that
these were written by another. They are not source material. If you
prefer to read only source material directly from Lafayete Ron Hubbard,
it is strongly suggested you buy books written by L.Ron Hubbard and
preferably those issued prior to 1982. There is no guarantee that books
issued by the RTC after 1982 have not been altered or changed in text.
See scientologistsfreezone.com for further information.
Each one is about 12 to 14 pages and available in e-book format at
7.95USD for an e-book as well as soft copy.

IFA AMNESTY
In celebration of the first group, The Life Improvement Center, to be certified by the IFA as fully applying Lafayette Ron Hubbard Standard Technology, an Amnesty is issued in accordance with HCO PL 6th of March 1965 Justice Amnesty Policy.
"AMNESTY: A general pardon for past offenses; the granting of such a pardon; a forgetting or intentional overlooking; the rendering of punishment null and void for offenses earlier than the amnesty date, known or unknown; forgiveness of past criminal or anti-social actions...."
"An Amnesty is general in nature and when issued includes everyone."
"Amnesty is clearly intended to cover only anti-social or anti-Scientology acts and is clearly not intended to cover debts, contracts or such agreements or obligations."
All moderations on IFAChat will be removed. All Ethics Files cleared.
David Miscaviage, The Religious Technology Center and the Church of Spritual Technology are not included within this amnesty as they intentionally operate outside the scope of agreement within the Freezone and the general public.
"Offenses occurring after midnight of the release date of an amnesty are not covered by the amnesty."
This Amnesty covers up to midnight 17th New York Time, USA.
"The frequency of amnesties is determined solely by the frequency of new triumphs of significant general importance to Scientology. Help them happen."
We look forward to seeing more groups become certified and encourage them to do so.

New Certified IFA Group
After some rigorous testing and inspection, the International Freezone Association (IFA), today was pleased to certify the Life Improvement Centre of Forest Hills, Tampa, Florida as fully qualified to deliver Lafayette Ron Hubbard Standard Technology.
The Quality Control Officer of the IFA Mark stated, "I inspected their training in progress. I looked over the materials they were using for training and in counseling I've inspected so I've seen that they can standardly provide all services they claim to deliver"
The Life Improvement Center is owned and run by Anita and Les Warren In Forest Hills, Tampa, Florida. Their services include:
Drug or Alcohol Rehab
Life Repair
Child/Parent Rehab
Purification Program
Free Testing, Evaluation
Ministerial Services
Improvement Zones
Children & Teens
Tutoring
Relationships & Marriage
Stress & Depression
Illness & Injury
Talent & Ability
What is the IFA Certification System?
The purpose of the certification process is to uphold and substantiate a specific standard of application and delivery of standard technology of the original working philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard to the level attained by the individual as originally instituted by Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
It was Ron himself who introduced the certification process in the form of certifications and oks to audit, issued by the Qual and approved by HCO and the Keeper of the Tech. These were not fanciful titles but in fact a recognition that the individual can and does apply the technology in the way Ron expected.
The certification process will provide recognition for practitioners that their application of the technology is of a satisfactory standard, undeviating in its application and delivery so the results remain predictable and stable.
This provides, for the clients of the practitioner, the knowledge that the practitioner is on source, knows and understands and can delivery the practical aspects of the original philosophy as outlined by Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
"This certification is an assurance that the philosophy and technology of Lafayette Ron Hubbard is still practiced in the field if not in the church." Stated Michael Moore President of the IFA. "We have an increasing number of people accepting and applying the professional standards of delivery demanded by the public."

Church of Scientology vs The Philosophy of Scientology

The Church of Scientology Vs Scientology
The philosophy and religion of scientology is as far from the official church (consisting of the private non profit company called Church of Spiritual Technology, the Religious Technology Center and the Church of Scientology International) as it is possible to get and still be on the same planet.
When Hubbard was alive the church did indeed practice scientology and expanded and helped many people to become more aware as beings. The philosophy was promoted and people were welcomed into the church. Families and family life was promoted and the cost of the services were reasonable.
After his death, however, a new regime took over and all that changed. The emphasis became money dedication to the exclusion of all else and a paranoiac obsession that anyone not with the church was against it. Church members were not allowed to look at the internet or anything the church management deemed contrary to church doctrine. A classic case of violating one of the basic doctrines of the philosophy.
Many of the original followers that assisted Hubbard with his research were booted out. Scripts and books were changed and a very effective 1984 job has been done on the literature and auditing and training, the basic services the church was set up to deliver, is at a stand still.
Even the wife of Hubbard, a tireless supporter, has become persona non gratis with the church.
The philosophy of scientology is not practiced in the church. The church is now a vehicle for making money, not for "spreading the word". It is a misnomer to say that that the church practices scientology because it does not anymore. The only scientology you will find practiced, is outside the church, in the Scientology Freezone.
Most of the current critics are critical of the church, not the philosophy, the basic principles of which they are probably unaware. Many get confused of course and cannot, or do not differentiate between the message and the messenger. In this case it is the messenger that has turned sour.
But what is of concern is that many critics, and the fellow in the street does not have a clue about what scientology is. All one gets is rhetoric and a diatribe of, "its bad", "Scientology kills people" or "scientologists eat babies" and other such idiocies. No, the church may participate in dubious activities but certainly any self respecting scientologist will not as it goes against the very principles by which he or she subscribes. The bald ignorant statements of, "they be all bad over there" is not a sound approach for adjudicating the merits or otherwise of any philosophy, whether practices by critics or church alike.
Ask people if they know what the ARC triangle represents, or what is a stable datum or what the eight dynamics are and they would not have a clue. How many people actually know what scientology is? Not very many! They do not even know the basics of real scientology.
But their criticism of the church is very different kettle of fish, and very very understandable. In the eye of the freezone scientologist, the church has committed the unpardonable sin of suppressing the original philosophy and, instead, imposed an authoritarian dictatorship totally at variance with the original philosophy.
So it comes as no surprise when the church gets attacked with such vehemence. It is a betrayal after trust. A failure to deliver what was promised. Indeed an active suppression of that which is supposed to be delivered.
Unfortunately the baby often gets thrown out with the bath water and that is what is occurring here.
By contrast, the International Freezone Association (IFA) is committed to keeping alive and practicing the original philosophy as researched and discovered by Hubbard. People participate and become members, supporting the IFA in its purposes of preserving, protecting and promotion the original philosophy.
The International Freezone Association (IFA) is an independent scientology group consisting of scientologists who prefer to stick with the original philosophy and technology as researched and developed by Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
The IFA has become an alternative for the seeker of truth and a second chance at freedom for the true scientologist. A safe haven for scientologists world wide. An alternative to the church that is scientology in name only and practices the original philosophy no more.
There is no hidden agenda here and, although the church may own the trademark to the word scientology, they do not own the trade mark to the truth.

Scientology Auctions
A new Scientology Freezone Auction site has started up!
Freezone Auctions is a not for profit online auction site sponsored by the International Freezone Association for the benefit of it's members as well as for Scientologists and none scientologists alike to buy and sell scientology products such as books, meters and tapes.
Here you can buy and sell predominately scientology materials such as books, tapes, meters and other materials. You can also buy and sell other non scientology related materials.
As well as providing a safe auction without interference from any other body, it also will support the IFA and so the Freezone. it provides more activity in the Freezone and will also draw more people and products to the Freezone.
This auction operates in a similar way to eBay and other online auctions and bidding and buying is very simple. You will need to be logged in if you want to bid.
Having browsed what is available and selected what you would like to bid on, you place you bid in the bidding field and confirm the bid. If you are the last person to bid when the auction is completed, You will then be displayed as the winning bidder.
Both you and the seller will receive an email advising of the completion of the bid. The auction for that item will still be displayed but as closed with the winning bidder shown and will remain on site for 48 hours before being removed. Freezone Auctions will still keep a record however and the item will still be recorded in your member area
This is a new and unique resource for scientologists around the world and sure to be very popular for those seeking to locate early scientology material as well as for those wanting to make some room!

Scientology 8-0 The Book of Basics

A critical analysis and comparison of the book "SCIENTOLOGY 0-8 The book of Basics, A critical analysis and comparison between the 1970 and 2007 versions" has been published this month. Authored by Andreas Grosz, Dipl.-Ing. and published by Gold Century Press, the book offers a detailed analysis of the changes found in the current issue of this boook of basics.
The book is free for download and is available at:
Scientologists Freezone website and at the Gold Century Press website.
It is a recommended read for all scientologists alike.
The Future of Scientology
The Freezone seems to be entering an era reminiscent of the early days of Scientology and Dianetics.
More and more people are finding their way to the Scientology Freezone.
Some dissatisfied with the official church and seeking a viable alternative. Most new to scientology and curious about it.
It seems the more attempts that are made to restrict the Freezone the larger it grows and the more presence it has. Each prod, each harassment, each attack seems to impel it to grow just that bit more. The datum, well known in scientology, that one gets what one resists comes to mind here.
Each time Tom Cruise, or his family, features in the news, more people spring to the internet to find out, "What is this scientology?".
Many find their way to the Freezone either through search engines, existing Freezone sites, groups or discussion lists.
The Freezone is experiencing a growth with record enquiries to all the major groups.
And there are many groups working towards a purpose of getting themselves and others up the bridge as to Clear and OT as fast as possible. Whereas it can take many many years and a considerable amount of money for those parishioners under the influence of the Church, many in the Freezone enjoy the rapidity of particle flow and move up the bridge in months according to the steady stream of of success stories.
It also seems that now any remaining differences between the various groups is slowly being overshadowed by the overall purpose to preserve the philosophy and technology and use it to increase peoples personal spiritual awareness. The Freezone is collectively a group in it's own right, of scientologists who practice the applied working philosophy of Ron Hubbard and are not held down by the fixed idea of copyright and trademark being more important than the spiritual development of mankind. Instead, are free to pursue the road all the way to the top one way or another.
The scientology freezone is truly the Free Zone of scientology.

The Sea Organisation Executive Directive by Richard Reiss, The apparent Senior C/S Flag Service Org is
about as off policy as one can get.
Using threats of ethics to enforce an added inapplicable in the field to
follow a policy that was originally only for Church auditors and,
importantly, for ORG PCs is a wrong target and will continue to ARCX the
field.
The issue quoted is, HCO PL 8 March 1966 HIGH CRIME
The quote is:
"TOLERATING THE ABSENCE OF OR NOT INSISTING UPON STAR RATED CHECKOUTS ON
ALL PROCESSES AND THEIR IMMEDIATE TECHNOLOGY AND ON RELATIVE POLICY
LETTERS ON HGC INTERNS OR STAFF AUDITORS IN THE TECH DIV OR STAFF
AUDITORS OR INTERNS IN THE QUAL DIV FOR THE LEVELS AND ACTIONS THEY WILL
USE, BEFORE PERMITTING THEM TO AUDIT ORG PCS, AND ON SUPERVISORS IN TECH
AND QUAL WHO INSTRUCT OR EXAMINE OR FAILING TO INSIST UPON THIS POLICY
OR PREVENTING THIS POLICY FROM GOING INTO EFFECT OR MINIMIZING THE
CHECKOUTS OR LISTS" - LRH
This policy letter by LRH does not call for field auditors to be
threatened with ethics if they do not apply this to the current wave of
ALTERED BOOKS AND TECHNOLOGY being forcibly rammed down their throats.
This smacks of totalitarianism at best and suppression at worse.
The issue states, "Those field auditors who noncomply will be reported
to I HELP (A misnomer in terms if ever I have heard one) and will be
investigated as regards their technical application and for any other
violations of their license agreements."
The term, 'noncomply' is a covert way of changing an act of omission
into an act of commission and is evidently being used to imply, in this
case, that field auditors actively have counter intention.
While it is probably a good idea to verify ones understanding of the
basics of the philosophy, being forced to do so under threats, the
implied accusation of being a criminal and possibility of being barred
is the total opposite of what scientology stands for. This is likely to
drive the auditor in the field away from the church and into the arms of
the scientologists Freezone and I think we should prepare for an influx
of disgruntled auditors!
HCOPL 10 dec 1969 SUPERIOR SERVICE IMAGE says:
"Its an old Maxim IF AUDITING IS OCCURRING IN THE
FIELD ORGS WILL BOOM"
"Its no real concern of ours to try to hold the
field versions standard. They mess up pcs and
students. They always will. A militant org attitude to
keep the ~field~ straight is silly. Let them flub as
you are trying to control something you cannot. "
Makes one wonder if it is the intention to drive the field away and
shrink the church even more. This seems to be yet another attempt to
destroy scientology from within.
The Sword of Damocles hangs over Miscavige poised waiting..
Once Upon a Time in Scientology
Once upon a time, many years ago, the Church of Scientology used to be the place to go to study the Scientology philosophy. Thousands of people did so and became scientologists enjoying the benefits obtained from the original philosophy just as Ron Hubbard developed it.
However, since the demise of Hubbard in the early 80s this is no longer the case. Times change and the church changed. New management has resulted in a different scientology being promoted. Alterations to the original philosophy developed by Hubbard have been documents and are easily seen by comparisons between the originally issued materials and the latest issues of the same materials.
Nowadays, to get the original philosophy, you now have to go to independent scientology groups such as the International Freezone Association (IFA) for example.
The IFA is a sort of protestant scientology group which prefers to stick with the philosophy as originally developed by Hubbard rather than the later 'updated' version currently followed by the Church.
Often regarded as a splinter group by the church, the IFA and its members follow the original teachings of Hubbard based on the original philosophy which Hubbard researched and developed which was so successful in the period up to the early 80s to give to people the best possible way of improving their lives.
The IFA operates outside of the church and has a list of members who are practitioners of the original philosophy. "We believe that the church has deteriorated since the demise of the Founder, and has taken to practicing a radically altered version of the original philosophy resulting in a more dissatisfied public and poor public relations." said Michael, President of the IFA. "As a result there is now a niche for the person wishing to get back to basics and study the original philosophy and the IFA is here to fill that niche." He said. "We are only interested in, what is known in scientology circles as, standard technology, which basically means the 'original applied working philosophy' just as Hubbard developed it."
"There are two distinct scientologies now" he went on. "The Church of Scientology and the International Freezone Association".
The IFA has a website at http://internationalfreezone.net from which further information may be obtained about the original philosophy of scientology.

Top Ex-Scientologist Found Dead
Press Release:
International Freezone Association
1st June 2007
Top Ex-Scientologist Found Dead
Ken Ogger, a long time scientologist was found dead in his swimming pool three days ago.
According to Ogger's girlfriend, "He was found dead today, on May 29, in the pool of his house. When the police took his body out, his hands were tied with a wire, and a heavy concrete thing attached to his feet. We were supposed to have a date on Monday night. Monday was a Memorial Day in America. He didn't come. He had never broke dates, and in case of any changes he always warned me. I couldn't reach him on the phone, and eventually drove to his place. His mother opened the door. It turned out she had no idea where he was. His car was there, so we assumed that somebody picked him up. But what worried us most -- no calls from him. The phone in his house was broken, but he never called me either. It was last night, on May 28, Monday, the Memorial Day. Today when I came to Ken's mother, she said at the door: "He is dead in the pool"."
Ogger had been what is known as an old time scientologist from the early days and was well versed in the philosophy. He wrote a number of works about the philosophy and its application. He had also been an outspoken critic of the new Church of Scientology regime since the demise of the Founder of the church and had been, according to posts he placed on the internet, subject to continual harassment by the Churches infamous Dept of Special Affairs (OSA).
The Church of Scientology is perhaps the most litigious in the world not hesitating to sue at the drop of a hat. OSA, their secret security 'arm' continues to harass ex-scientologists (known as Scientology Freezoners) around the world in an attempt to prevent them from practicing their religion despite, at the same time, crying wolf and protesting freedom of religion around the world.
Recently, continually provoking of a BBS Panorama TV Crew resulted in a screaming match observed around the world.
An Autopsy is due to be performed, meanwhile tributes continue to flowing in around the world for Ken Ogger from scientologists in the Scientology Freezone.
